It is 2005 – and all are back to work…..right?

The partying is wearing off, and winter plods along – seasons change, we all grow – older, wiser(?), and try to get more in tune with ourselves.

Look outside you, beyond you – is the sky blue?

Happiness is out there for all of us – go on, grab ahold, and cheer for sheer joy – that was not so tough, was it?

Okay, enough of philosophy – Happy 2005, everyone!

Time does fly!

It is November, and we are almost into 2005. The yard needs to be cleaned of all the dry leaves , fall is well into its way, days are BRRRRR! cold, and the warm clothes are out.

Soon , we should see the snow flakes fly – but then , summer always follows winter, and winter follows summer.

So let’s enjoy this wonderful season of colors and family gatherings, and pray for a wonderful holiday season for everybody – no exceptions!

HAPPY TIMES, EVERYONE!

Is this summer? Wet, humid, dull, cold, chilly ——— anything but hot – except the odd couple of days!

But the swimming is still good – and the kids are having fun, so all is well!

Summer is here – along with the green, the deer, the bees, the wasps , and ….oh so wonderful ……- the swimming!

The pool is open and functional, though we are still working on the cosmetics around the house – and we will be working on that for the next year and a half at the very least.

Usha has put in a lot of effort, and so have the children – and we are seeing the results now.

I have become the local expert on attic and whole house fans. Spent 6 hours in the attic this past weekend , in greater-than-130-degree heat, and got the fans (one in the roof, the other in the ceiling of the 2nd floor) all functional and happy!

I also broke one of my firewalls – and have now decided to trash it and rebuild it from scratch. Watch my personal weblog (http://mani.akella.org) for the rest of the saga.
