Wrath, the destroyer

Wrath, the destroyer, roars with rage
A tempest unleashed, a hurricane's rage
Driven by worldly knowledge, misapplied
Leading to chaos, destruction, and strife

The mind, a wild elephant, must be tamed
With goad in hand, the path of true knowledge aimed
For worldly knowledge, though alluring and bright
Can lead to wrath, a destructive might

When blinded by greed and selfish desire
Wrath consumes, like a raging fire
The goad, a tool to keep the mind in check
Guiding towards knowledge, pure and correct

For true knowledge, like a calm river flows
With peaceful currents and wise undertows
Not driven by anger, nor lust, nor pride
But seeking truth, with an open mind and wide

So heed the call of the elephant-hook
And shun the path of wrath, lest it overtook
For true knowledge, the key to a harmonious life
Requires discipline, focus, and a mind free of strife.
